About
We are a small architectural practice, and intentionally so. All of our clients work with either Chris Allan or Katie Allan, our two Directors, who are both ARB registered Architects (and also a husband and wife team).
This means you have a dedicated Director working with you at all times.
We will ask many questions along the way to delve into the project brief and this becomes a collaborative process to develop a bespoke design that is perfect for you.

Our process
We have a trusted network of consultants, suppliers and builders that we can bring on board to the team as the project progresses, advising you as and when their input is required.
We work to de-risk projects, with our experience of planning policy used to eliminate or address any planning concerns for the project from the start.
When working with an architect, you should be in a position to get excited about your project and to be proud of the end result - not only in its built form - but how it delivers for you and how you want to live in your home.
Your project matters to us, and we want to make your home not only bespoke to you but something amazing along the way.
Why us
As we are a small team, you receive a dedicated service from a Director and Architect. We have over twenty years of combined experience and have completed numerous projects from new build houses, large scale extensions and refurbishments, Listed Buildings and contentious planning approvals, whilst also regularly working in the Green Belt, Conservation Areas and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
We take an all-encompassing view on our projects, considering every detail inside and out. This approach to planning, interiors, structural considerations and detailing results in a truly holistic design which flows seamlessly throughout each project. We are also straight with you on the facts and the reality of building work, guiding you away from any risks. A building project is a considerable investment but, completed in the right way, it can add so much value to a property, not just monetary, but in the value of good design.
We do not design ordinary houses, but look for opportunities to elevate your design to something truly individual, opening up possibilities where you might not think they are possible.
