Our Approach
We are a young and ambitious practice based in South Oxfordshire, full of energy looking to work with interesting, like-minded clients. We have local knowledge and experience within the Oxfordshire / Berkshire area.
As architects, we can lead and guide clients from the concept of a project through the process to completion. Each new project is started with a fresh approach, with the intention to deliver design quality and management expertise above and beyond the client’s expectations. We pride ourselves in having a keen eye for detail at all stages in a project.
We build a working relationship with every client to fully understand their needs and aspirations for the project. At each stage in the project we engage the client in the process by presenting a carefully considered, realistic and refined approach. We relish the challenge to respond to a client’s brief and site whilst working within the constraints of their budget.
Meet the Team
Chris Allan
BA (Hons), M.Arch, ARB
Chris has always had a passion for design and detail, studying at the Leeds School of Architecture for both his undergraduate and Masters degrees followed by the Oxford School of Architecture for his final professional qualifications.
His professional experience includes high-end residential, large scale housing projects and office refurbishments.
Chris questions everything in design, constantly looking for the best architectural solution for each project. He considers that as designers, we have a responsibility to question our surroundings and investigate design decisions to fully explore every opportunity.
Chris is an ARB registered Architect.
Katie Allan
MA(Cantab), MArchD, ADPPA, ARB
Katie started her architectural education at Cambridge University, moving to the Oxford School of Architecture and then finally to RIBA North West to qualify as an architect.
Her professional experience ranges from luxury international hotels, hospitality projects to high-end residential properties, in both contemporary and vernacular design.
Katie has an attention to detail and drive to exceed the expectations of any client as to what can be achieved for their brief and architecturally. She looks for a holistic overview for every project to bring each detail into the larger project approach.
Katie is an ARB registered Architect.
