The Council provided a very positive pre-planning response which has translated into a planning approval with no objections. Not only is this property within a Conservation Area but it is also a Building of Townscape Merit.

A single storey blockwork garage is to be replaced with a two storey side extension, taking the style of a mews building with complementary finishes and details to the main house.

The clients have invested to restore and reinstate character details to the existing property and this intent is continued within the proposed works. A new office/playroom will occupy the first floor, with a more practical Boot Room within the ground floor for day-to-day access.
